Arbor Day Program

Each year BBA plans a special Arbor Day program with Bailey’s Elementary School and Woodrow Wilson Library. In 2007 it took place on April 27 in Baileys Park. Baileys School provided the students, some of whom performed, wore costumes, and carried posters. The library provided space in its display cases for students’ art, chairs for the attendees, and a meeting room in case of rain. BBA did the planning, bought the handouts, the balloons, and the tree, and made the cookies.

In this way we try to educated the students and the community about the value of trees in our communities for beauty and for health.
